What: There are many important issues, and candidate elections are happening on Tuesday, November 5th (don’t forget to vote)! We will have hot cocoa and snacks and relax, watch movies, play board games, or otherwise just spend time together!
Who: For members of our local LGBTQ+ community.
When: Wednesday, November 6, 10 AM – 2 PM
What: The GLO Center is partnering with Beyond Healing to provide a safe, open space for adolescents to explore their identities, find community, and develop healthy coping skills.
Who: For LGBTQIA+ teens ages 14-18.
When: Friday, November 8, 6-7 PM
Where: The GLO Center
What: These art classes aim to build social connections among LGBTQ+ families and provide a creative outlet for K-8 children. We believe in the power of art to bring communities together and foster understanding and self-expression!
When: November 11, 5 PM – 6:30 PM

What: Many people don’t know where to turn when a child, family member, friend, or other loved one comes out as LGBTQ+. The GLO Center is partnering with PFLAG Springfield/SWMO to help you better understand, support, and celebrate your loved one.
When: November 19, 5 PM – 7 PM
Where: The Third Place – 416 W Commercial St
What: An evidence-based sexual health-ed program designed to reduce unintended pregnancies and/or STDs. The program focuses on sexual healthcare, safer sex, and healthcare advocacy.
Who: For LGBTQIA+ Young People • 14 – 21 years old
When: Saturday, November 23, 2:30 – 5:30 PM
Where: The GLO Center • This is a free program! •
What: The GLO Center is hosting Friendsgiving!
Come out to the Center for food, fun, and laughter!
