OLD SCHOOL SUPPORT GROUP (50+)

Old School Support Group

The Old School Support Group provides LGBTQ+ folks aged 50+ the opportunity to come together and build community with each other.

The recurring time for Old School is the 4th Tuesday at 9AM. We will also meet once a month offsite, and that date will change monthly. Please sign up for our email list or follow us on social media to stay in the loop.

The group is geared towards 50+ but there is no age limit, younger people can attend.

GLO Movie Night @ The Moxie

What: Moonage Daydream (2022) is a documentary film about the legendary musician and artist David Bowie, directed by Brett Morgen. Unlike traditional documentaries, the film is an immersive audiovisual experience that blends never-before-seen concert footage, interviews, and personal archives with Bowie’s own narration and music!

6-Session SNAP Family Nutrition Class: Session 1

What: The free program is for children 8-12 and the adult who prepares their meals. It involves cooking together as a family and learning recipes that are healthy and easy to cook. The classes are interactive, and you can learn about setting health goals for your family. This is a great opportunity for families to connect with each other and build community.  
When: Saturday, May 24th 10 AM – 12 PM  
Where: The GLO Center  
If a family attends all six sessions, they will receive a free kitchen appliance!

What: Join GLO at our Banned Book Club where we’ll be reading a series of books that have been or could be banned, followed by discussions on the books, novels, and writings. This is a SAFE SPACE and is open to allies and open-minded individuals!

Ozarks Pridefest Pre-Party: Homecoming Dance

What: Ozarks Pridefest 2025 is throwing the ultimate HOMECOMING DANCE pre-party and YOU’RE INVITED to bring the Y2K realness and party like it’s 2005 (but gayer 🌈). There will be a live DJ, cash bar, raffles, and a meet & greet with legend, JAMES MANSFIELD! 👑
