Volunteer - Crisis Cold Weather Shelter

Volunteer for the Crisis Cold Weather Shelter

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help provide a safe, warm place for our unsheltered friends on nights when temperatures drop below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Our shelter will be open on Thursday and Saturday nights from November 1 through April 1.

Volunteers are essential to our mission, helping in two shifts: the Opening Shift from 7-9 pm and the Overnight Shift from 9 pm – 7 am, with overnight volunteers allowed to sleep in shifts. Each night, we can house up to six guests, providing critical shelter during life-threatening weather conditions.

Volunteers are required to complete a background check and training. By volunteering, you will make a real difference in the lives of those most in need. Join us in offering hope and warmth this winter season!
