A new client-centered resource navigation program focusing on LGBTQ+ needs that assists clients with navigating:

Resource Navigation Process

Step 1

Initial Consultation

In your first 45-minute consultation, we’ll discuss your hopes, goals, and current concerns. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, explore available resources, and set actionable goals to guide your next steps.

In this visit, we will:

  • Discuss desired outcomes
  • Present any concerns
  • Do a strengths assessment
  • Explore resources
  • Set goals

Step 2

Follow-Up Visits

To provide ongoing support, we offer follow-up appointments tailored to your needs. Whether at our center, in your environment, or a public space, these consultations ensure you receive direct assistance in accessing the services you need.

We’ll provide support through:

  • Follow-ups toward meeting goals
  • Flexible meeting locations
  • Hands-on help with accessing services

Food Pantry

A food pantry to supplement necessities.

Hygeine Pantry

A hygiene pantry to promote well-being, job readiness, and more.

Bus Passes

Bus Passes are available to assist clients with transportation to appointments and meetings.

Translation Services

Our program is pleased to offer Translation Services, including American Sign Language.

Events/Resources

Monthly Resource Evening

Join us for GLO’s Monthly Resource Night on every first Monday of the month from 5:15–8:00 PM! Each month, we’ll open our doors to provide helpful resources and connect our community with trusted partners and services.

Services will change monthly, but the food and hygiene pantry will always be available along with APO Overdose Prevention & Testing.

APO Medicaid Specialist

An APO Community Health Medicaid Specialist will be at The GLO Center every 4th Monday to provide services to the LGBTQ+ Community.

They'll be able to assist with enrollment, provide resources, and answer your questions.

Walk-ins are welcome!

GLO Youth Prom

What: Join us for a FREE Greek-inspired mythical evening filled with food, music, and dancing. Youth Prom is a chance to dress up, celebrate, and enjoy a fun, welcoming night with friends in a space made for joy, connection, and community.

Banned Book Club

What: For May, we will be reading the graphic novel “They Called Us Enemy” by George Takei. It is about Takei’s experiences during the internment of Japanese Americans in World War II. The book has been frequently banned and challenged in school districts across the country.
