The GLO 50plus support group provides LGBTQ+ folks aged 50+ the opportunity to come together and build community with each other.
The recurring time for GLO 50plus is the 1st Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm. During odd months, the location with change each month, and on even months, we will meet at The Third Place (416 W Commercial St)

What: The GLO Market supports local queer-owned businesses and resources. Started in 2023, GLO Markets aim to showcase local talent where patrons can purchase from over 20+ LGBTQIA+ artists, resources, and entrepreneurs.
When: Saturday, August 29 @ 12PM – 4PM
Where: The GLO Center – 518 E Commercial St, Springfield, MO
What: For September, we will be discussing “The Satanic Verses” by Salman Rushdie. It was published in 1988 and was viewed as blasphemy, leading to a fatwa against Rushdie by the Supreme Leader of Iran, resulting in several assassination attempts.

What:This is a free event for youth, and discounted tickets will be available for family members/guardians who wish to tag along. Permission slips are REQUIRED to attend. GLO must receive your signed permission slip by 9/11.
