Annual Meeting 2025

The annual meeting is a time for GLO members to come together, learn about board opportunities, and celebrate all that we have accomplished this year!

Note: On Monday, September 22, at approximately 10:00 a.m., GLO Center staff received a threat to the Center and our community. For safety, the Center closed and cancelled all events for the day, including the Annual Meeting. After careful consideration, The GLO Center has decided to move the Annual Meeting to Zoom. Members will be emailed the link on Monday 9/29.

🏳️‍⚧️ Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

What: Celebrate this year’s Transgender Day of Visibility with START! We’ll have food, resources, artists, and a wide variety of local vendors to shop with & support.
We encourage our transgender community & allies alike to attend, share this day of growth & celebration with one another, and show that our community is stronger together.
When: Saturday, March 28 @ 1PM – 5PM
Where: Drew Lewis Foundation @ The Fairbanks
This event is FREE to the community. Interested trans artists can sign up, and vendors can purchase table space

🎙️ Stand Up for GLO with Cassie Duncan ✨

What: The GLO Center is thrilled to announce the Second Annual Stand Up for GLO fundraiser – featuring “Your Dad’s Fav Stand-Up Comedian,” Cassie Duncan!
Kansas City–based comedian Cassie Duncan brings sharp, personal humor to the stage, drawing from her experience as a trans woman while covering a wide range of relatable (and wildly funny) topics. She’s performed across the Midwest – from South Dakota to Nebraska to Iowa – and has hosted for nationally touring comedians Jay Jurden and Amber Autry at the Comedy Club of Kansas City.
When: Sunday, March 29 @ 7PM
Where: Springfield Comedy Club
Stand Up for GLO is an annual fundraiser aimed at supporting The GLO Center’s mission to bring more queer entertainment and art to the Ozarks!
