The GLO Center’s Game Night is every Friday at GLO from 6-9 p.m. and is open to all ages. It’s a fun time to socialize and play board games and card games while connecting with your community. What: The GLO Center’s Banned Book Club is reading “Witchcraft for Wayward Girls” by Grady Hendrix for its Jan.4 meeting. The author of “How to Sell a Haunted House” and “The Final Girl Support Group” delivers another completely original novel, this time about pregnant teenagers in 1970 who are sent to a home for unwed mothers. There, they discover witchcraft through a forbidden book, gaining power that comes with a bloody price in this Southern Gothic horror.
