GLO’s Young Adult Group is held every Thursday night from 4-8 p.m. at the GLO Center. This group is for LGBTQIA+ young adults ages 18-25. What: The GLO Center’s Banned Book Club is reading “Witchcraft for Wayward Girls” by Grady Hendrix for its Jan.4 meeting. The author of “How to Sell a Haunted House” and “The Final Girl Support Group” delivers another completely original novel, this time about pregnant teenagers in 1970 who are sent to a home for unwed mothers. There, they discover witchcraft through a forbidden book, gaining power that comes with a bloody price in this Southern Gothic horror.
