About the OIP

The Ozarks Inclusion Project promotes excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Ozarks by intentionally fostering community connections and building organizational capacity to uphold diverse, equitable, and inclusive values. A project initiated by The GLO Center in 2015, Ozarks Inclusion Project offers inclusive and equitable quality trainings, promote lifelong learning, community partnership and an online searchable directory so allies and LGBTQIA+ individuals can find the resources so that all can thrive.

Banned Book Club

What: The GLO Center’s Banned Book Club is reading “Witchcraft for Wayward Girls” by Grady Hendrix for its Jan.4 meeting. The author of “How to Sell a Haunted House” and “The Final Girl Support Group” delivers another completely original novel, this time about pregnant teenagers in 1970 who are sent to a home for unwed mothers. There, they discover witchcraft through a forbidden book, gaining power that comes with a bloody price in this Southern Gothic horror.
